I HAD AN AFFAIR

Looking weary and tired, Mrs. Addi closes the door behind her with her head still facing down. Throwing her dressing bag on the floor, she calmly said, "I had an affair". Stunned is Kwame the husband who in his wildest dreams believed to be the lovely romantic husband ever. His nerves gave way to the glass of wine in his hands crushing on the floor. Without a word, he just came crushing into the sofa. For a moment, the room was so quiet that one could easily hear a pin falling. What should Mr. Addi do with this revealing truth of her wife's extramarital affairs?

"The Lord said to me, "Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another and is an adulteress. Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes." (Hosea 3:1 NIV)

Have you thought of what you have been doing to God? Having affair with other gods at the neglect of Him. You clothe yourself in Christ's garment to be known and called a Christian meanwhile, you visit gods, keeps charms, sacrifice to deities, chasing after blood money and all the worldly things.
"These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men." (Isaiah 29:13 NIV) You are you Gomer, or perhaps Mrs. Addi?

Why do you keep breaking the heart of Christ who is the head of the Church just as the husband is the head of the family? His arms are still open to welcome you, just come open and surrender to Christ Jesus like Mrs. Addi and God will surely receive you with a warm welcome.

Stop having affairs and live a victorious Christian life.

Shalom aleichem...
